We had a lovely two day stay with our dogs. Great area for walking. Excellent service made very welcome by lovely staff. Would thoroughly recommend restaurant food excellent too.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food with Pigeon and Stone Bass a highlight for evening dinner, the breakfasts are also excellent. Baba and all the staff are welcoming and genuinely friendly which is something that's often missing these days. We'd choose to stay again when visiting the area.
Good old fashioned service. Maybe a little tired but suits a clientele of a certain age. Nothing is too much trouble and any concerns are addressed immediately. Excellent well presented food in the restaurant. Well appointed rooms with lots of extra little touches. Leaf tea with real milk I'm the fridge, fruit bowl and home made biscuits.
Lovely girlie weekend booked through Travel Zoo, slightly outdated decor but the hotel itself, staff and excellent breakfast and dinner did not disappoint. Ample sized bedrooms with sofas, fridge with milk and water. Tea coffee and homemade biscuits. Lovely huge white towels and good sized bathroom. The weather was kind so we played croquet and had drinks on the sunny terrace around the pond and grounds. Nice walks from the hotel. This was a gem of a booking.
Lovely stay in the countryside. Old world charm. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Very tasty breakfast.
Beautiful Hotel in a lovely setting. The food is first class. Everything we had at dinner and breakfast was perfect and plentiful. Wines were good too. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Although the rooms are in need of some TLC, they are very spacious and have all modern requirements (T.V., WIFI, hairdryer). Fresh coffee, leaf tea, homemade biscuits and a fruit bowl! A real gem!
We had a Sunday roast here today . Absolutely outstanding. £45 for 3 courses. The place has come a long way since last being here .

Whether you are just visiting for a meal or staying the night you are always made to feel most welcome by the fabulous owner and lovely staff. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax in the lovely grounds. A visit to see Dazzle the pony is always a bonus. Keep up the wonderful work you all do.
